REX Analyzer presents previously collected screen capture videos and corresponding performance data in a way that is easy to understand and interpret. The REX Analyzer screen is divided into four quadrants of equal size.
Each quadrant can either play a video, animate telemetry data or display a static image. You control the player with start, stop , fast forward, rewind and pause buttons. Zoom in or out of each quadrant with a single mouse click.
REX Analyzer has two modes; edit mode and play mode. In Edit Mode you assign a combination of screen videos, telemetry data files, still images or text files to each quadrant. REX Analyzer saves this information to a configuration file. Edit mode functions include opening, creating, modifying and saving .rexa files (or REX Packages, explained later). Supported media formats are video (.mp4, .wmv, .avi), telemetry data (.csv), image (.png, .jpg, .tiff, .bmp) and text (.txt).
Edit mode has a packaging function where you gather and store all media files referenced in a .rexa file into one single archive (a REX Package, or.rexpkg file). This zipped up container makes it easy to share sequences with others. It also simplifies archiving sequences for historical purposes or for later comparison with other sequences in the future.
